Machine Maintenance Mechanic
The Machine Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various machines within a machine-shop facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including parts replacement, rebuilds, and cleaning, as required by work instructions.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks, determining the necessary scope of work based on machine condition and operational requirements.
- Conduct machine and plant repairs, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Clean and maintain coolant tanks and perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist in periodic cleaning and refilling of parts cleaning sinks.
- Perform other assignments as required by the Maintenance Supervisor, including assistance in other areas.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and replacing parts when required, particularly with CNC Machines such as Swiss, Star, Moris, and Hass.
- Must have general knowledge of various production machinery within a machine-shop facility.
- BASIC building maintenance experience is preferred but not mandatory.
