What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geologist position at System One?
PG in Pennsylvania is preferred At least 5 years’ relevant experience Geological mapping and survey techniques Knowledge of mining and related topics including but not limited to : Open-pit mining Strip mining Blasting plans and notices Groundwater Surface water Water collection and testing Dust sampling Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations (PA required, OH a plus) Experience with related submissions and permits (NPDES, HOP, PNDI, GP 104, etc.
Understanding of wetland delineation, mitigation, etc. Interaction with related agencies : DEP, EPA, Army Corp of Engineers, etc.
Ability to conduct fieldwork in various terrains and weather conditions Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and / or hydrologic / hydraulic software a plus.
