Title: IT Desktop Support Technician
ALTA is supporting a 6-month CONTRACT-TO-HIRE opportunity working onsite in Fairfield, Ohio. W2 Contract. No C2C Cannot support Sponsorship Now or in the future upon hire.

- Build/configure Windows workstations for corporate associates.
- Perform advanced software/hardware instillation, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot and respond to user questions.
- Track and update open incidents/Work Orders and/or escalate problems.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all assigned projects and provide weekly status reports to management.
- Install hardware and software including operating system and office applications.
- Perform required quality assurance tests.
Requirements:
- Dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline
- 4-6 years experience in either computer operations, hardware or deskside support.
- Highly developed experience in the installation of hardware and software.
- Advanced Windows 10/11, OneDrive experience, Office 365, advanced working knowledge of networks and network terminology, advanced repair skills for laptops/desktops and peripherals.
- VMware/VDI knowledge a plus.
- A and MCP certification(s) very desirable.
