Legal Assistant

• Maintain regulatory and compliance records in electronic databases, ensuring accuracy and generating reports as required.
• Organize and manage both electronic and physical legal files, keeping them up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Monitor and track regulatory filings and compliance deadlines, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to legal requirements.
• Review and update internal reports as directed by the manager, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate and current.
• Review and summarize regulatory and compliance filings, providing clear and concise summaries to the legal team.
• Utilize MS Word and Excel to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the manager or other members of the legal team.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in legal studies, paralegal studies, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a related role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with MS Project or Agiloft CLM software is a plus.
• Experience with MS Project or Agiloft CLM software is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of legal terminology and principles is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
