About The Role 
You will serve as a key member of our APAC Commercial team.  You will report directly to System1’s Senior Vice President for APAC based in Sydney and will have dotted line reporting to our Global Head of Partnerships, UK. You will be responsible for creating and converting demand through the creation and management of measurement partnerships with media owners and agencies, and other Fame activities – across Australia and New Zealand. 

What will you be doing? 
  • Work with the Global Partnerships team to create local measurement partnerships with media owners.
  • Manage Aus/NZ measurement partnerships to ensure mutual success – delivering 1st testing and guidance projects for our partners clients (supported by our research teams) and converting this intro into a new System1 customer.
  • Input into the creation of and repurpose our thought leadership to make System1 and our partners famous in Aus/NZ – including working with our global marketing team to manage media partnerships (EG. B&T), create owned reach via owned channels (EG. LinkedIn) and attending and speaking at industry events (EG. Cannes Crocs).
  • Grow System1 Fame internally in creative and media agencies, running workshops and insight sessions. And using our resources to support on pitches.
  • Convert inbounds interest from this Fame and partnership ecosystem to new System1 customers – exceeding an established sales quota by growing this pipeline of opportunities and driving them to contract close.
  • Creating lower-funnel assets for Aus/NZ from our global research and sales material that effectively creates and converts interest – identifying any additional data or research needed.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities to conversion/wins.

You need to have the following experience: 
  • A solid 5-10 years’ experience in sales/marketing/partnership roles with clear exposure to strategy, planning, research and comms.
  • Strong understanding of how data and research play a role in the marketing ecosystem
  • Growing a Business – You have pitched and won new business proposals. You can demonstrate a track record of growing a business or brand, and what it takes to succeed.
  • Demonstrated experience of being able to collaborate cross-functionally within a business to drive results
  • Developing Effective Creative – You know the creative development process and how understanding the audience response can inspire more effective creative.
  • Experience presenting or pitching directly to marketers and/or agencies.
  • Preferred higher level education in business/marketing or experience creating marketing narrative, research, strategy presentations or thought leadership.
