What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Automation Sales Specialist position at Systems Associates, Inc?
Systems Associates Inc. is a sustainability company which uses industrial grade controls to offer maximum energy savings while maintaining the utmost comfort for our customers. SAI has been a provider of full building automation controls for over 40 years. These control services include but are not limited to: HVAC, hotel room thermostats, lighting, and commercial irrigation. Our customers range from hotels, office buildings, schools, college campuses, and factories.
Position Overview: The Sales Specialist is responsible for maintaining relationships with our current customers; as well as creating new sales opportunities and cultivating new relationships with potential customers.
Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Provide accurate and clearly documented estimates & proposals to minimize risk while maintaining low cost
- Assist with estimates, walk-throughs, and field surveys
- Ensure a scope letter is created for each project
- Review specification and control schematics
- Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results
- Occasional travel to a prospect/customer location within the U.S.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Building Automation and/or HVAC experience
- Understanding of project drawings
- Salesforce experience a plus
Education/Certifications:
- Degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred
Compensation based on experience.
