- Provides overall on-site administrative and technical management of assigned projects.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees during installation of low-voltage cabling and associated systems within commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
- Ensure all onsite personnel comply with all policy & procedures so project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Coach and mentor direct reports.
- Possess mechanical, and technical skills to perform installation tasks as required within project scope of work
- Oversee production and safety pre-planning to identify goals and methods related to project progress and to eliminate hazards.
- Assume responsibility for productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Candidates must be willing to perform all aspects of the job including cable installation, termination, and testing.
- Membership in the IBEW with applicable knowledge and understanding of current IBEW S&C agreement (we will assist with new membership procedures for any current non-member applicants)
- 5-7 years prior experience as low voltage Technician/Lead Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid WI Drivers’ License and proof of auto insurance, along with maintaining reliable method of transportation to and from jobsite
- Stand, walk, lift, pull, move, climb, and bend throughout the shift
- Uphold safety as a number 1 priority, regarding Quality as number 2
- Proficient knowledge in certification testing and troubleshooting of both copper and fiber optic cabling using Fluke Versiv DSX
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with all team members and project stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite along with willingness to learn new applications as needed.
