Position Summary:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for creating invoices once work orders are complete and sending them to customers in a timely manner.
Hours:
Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm OR 8:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Billing Specialist is a critical role that ultimately ensures our customers are billed accurately and in a timely manner.
Primary Duties:
- Gather information from the in-house system such as labor hours, material used etc. and build customer invoice
- Review invoices for accuracy with billing manager
- Submit final invoice to customer in a timely manner
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, One Drive) or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
- Ability to work independently
Experience:
- Experience working in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of the Electrical / Facility Services industry is preferred
- Education/Licensure/Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates must be willing to relocate before starting work as this position is required to be onsite Monday-Friday
- Candidates must pass a drug test and background check prior to starting work
Compensation and Benefits:
- $22-$25 per hour
