Responsibilities and Duties:

The Service Manager responsibilities and duties include:
Primary Duties:
- Manage day to day operations of field technician
- Manage technicians time each day and communicating with them before overtime is incurred
- Answer phone calls from technicians in real time, offering assistance for any issues they encounter
- Build and submit proposals to clients
- Conduct routine housekeeping tasks such as following up on open proposals, open parts orders, etc.
- Work with VP of Field Operations to assign emergency work orders to technicians
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, One Drive) or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
- Ability to work independently
Experience
- Experience working in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of the Electrical / Facility Services industry is preferred
Education/Licensure/Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- Candidates must be willing to relocate before starting work as this position is required to be onsite Monday-Friday
- Candidates must pass a drug test and background check prior to starting work
Compensation and Benefits:
- $60,405.80 per year
