The UX Designer Specialist is responsible for :
Designing user interfaces and creating optimized, cross-platform user-centered experiences that reflect our brand and customer experience goals.
Being highly collaborative, working with business stakeholders, Marketing and Corporate Communications and external partners and DevOps teams.
Leading the discovery, conceptualization and implementation of the user experience design across the company's assets.
Serving a spectrum of audience segments including both internal and external users.
Collecting and analyzing production data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the user-interface design.
Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables :
Uses critical thinking skills, researches, analyses and solves complex user / system interactions that align with desired business outcomes.
Collaborates and interacts effectively to earn trust, persuade and motivate stakeholders, product owners and team members, through visual, verbal and written communications.
Executes all visual and workflow design stages from concept to final hand-off by creating personas, journey maps, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, prototypes, and mockups.
Challenges the validity of requirements, proposes options, articulates and justifies design decisions through an intimate understanding of the business goals and by using techniques such as design thinking principles.
Optimizes user-interface designs across multiple devices that are compelling, are intuitive and well thought through with extraordinary attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Mandatory Requirements :
University degree related to psychology, creative design, digital media, marketing, fine arts or communications studies.
8 years of experience in UX / UI design, interaction design or other related disciplines.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Extensive experience leading the UX design life cycle - user research, discovery, conceptualization and implementation.
A comprehensive portfolio that demonstrates intuitive and compelling designs.
Experience with leading, providing work direction and mentoring other UX Designers and Coop students.
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or willingness to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of work.
Able to comply with the company's Employee and Contractor Mandatory Vaccine Policy.
