What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Operations Assistant position at Tabitha's Balloon Bar?
We are looking for a committed individual to join our team as an Event Decor Crew Member. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. Your role will involve setting up and tearing down event decor and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and tear down of event decor.
- Work closely with the design team to execute the client's vision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Prepping gear for events
- Warehouse maintenance and organization
- Warehouse cleaning
- Driving for deliveries
- Equipment cleaning/painting
Requirements:
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Have a clean driver's license (past 3 years)
- Able to get security clearance at various locations.
- Have reliable transportation to/from work (your own vehicle is a MUST)
- Be willing to work with a flexible schedule (nights/weekends and a varying schedule)
- Be able to lift 60lbs safely.
- Be punctual and organized- Be outgoing, friendly, and courteous
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
What does a typical day look like for a new hire?
- Arrive and clock in
- Unload Trucks from previous events or load truck for upcoming delivery.
- Review work schedule for the week to determine items needing to be pulled and maintained prior to delivery. This is could vary from painting backdrops, striking old decor or repairing rentals.
- Delivery/ Breakdown schedule will vary: If there is a delivery or breakdown you will have a teammate and arrive to venues for install or breakdown.
- Shift is over and clock out.
Work schedule will vary.
