What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Tacala, LLC?
Core Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition efforts within brands to help field operations navigate hard-to-staff locations and continue to build leadership pipelines
- Perform general administrative functions including, but not limited to, maintaining team member files, document retention, report generation, processing changes to team member records in HRIS and ATS, and maintaining HR data, forms, and documents
- Navigate various communication channels to support team members and customers with their HR needs or direct to appropriate HR/AP Partner
- Assist with managing the reporting process for states with Child Labor Laws and support uploading of needed documentation from locations
- Proactively and willingly adapt to changing business needs and conditions and present creative and fresh ideas on how to solve problems, gain efficiencies, and improve quality
- Support creation of new job postings, locations, and users within the ATS, serving as an Admin
- Learn and retain evolving knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day leadership of team members, to help reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with creating corrective action documents, teaching coaching behaviors, and maintaining accurate records
- Prepare and maintain inventory for new location kits to deploy to appropriate locations, when needed
- Work independently to resolve issues and provide solutions
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with information obtained throughout work environment
- Support the HR Team with other relevant tasks as needed
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in the HR field, especially in the realm of talent acquisition
- Display an ongoing commitment to learning and self-improvement; making an effort to acquire new knowledge and skills associated with job responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management, and presentations
- Ability to understand the laws and regulations such as labor laws, ADA, EEOC, etc. and have a good understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers in difficult situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment
- Represent oneself as having above average written and verbal communication skills
- Needs to be detailed oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
