Tachus Fiber Internet (“Tachus”) is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the role of Tachus Advisor. Tachus is a fiber broadband internet provider delivering service to the Greater Houston area since 2018. This approach has resulted in Tachus' industry leading Net Promoter Score from its rapidly growing customer base of over 47,000 households. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Tachus Advisor will be responsible for growing the Tachus subscriber network by supporting the needs of potential customers in communities where our service is offered. The ideal candidate should be an experienced, highly organized, and energetic self-starter with a demonstrated track record of successful business-to-consumer sales, inside/outside sales, or promotional activity with proven results in an environment requiring a high level of initiative, accountability, and collaboration. In addition, the demonstration of strong teamwork capabilities to collaborate effectively across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance Tachus objectives will be an important feature of the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow the Tachus customer base through a win-win strategy by building strong customer relationships using consultative sales techniques over the phone and in-person events.
- Advise consumers to select the optimal Tachus product and service through outbound phone calling, SMS messaging, and emailing (50%-70% of effort), Door-to-Door Sales (15%-30% of effort) and in-person marketing events (15%-30% of effort) in support of customer acquisition.
- Contact qualified leads via phone calls to identify needs, build value, and sell Tachus’ products and services.
- Execute lead conversion campaigns to accelerate customer growth in specific markets.
- Attend field-based marketing events to showcase our offerings and to engage with potential customers.
- On occasion, conduct in-home consultations to sell Tachus products and services and to generate referrals.
- Participate in community-specific events aimed at inviting and educating customers about various industry-related topics.
- Provide timely activity and sales analysis updates to the Sales Manager.
- Complete all administrative expectations on time and as directed.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- The Tachus Advisor should have experience working independently with direct/sole responsibility for sales performance.
- Ability to learn technical information and effectively communicate written and verbally to a broad audience.
- A history of successfully managing customer relationships with an extremely friendly personality with an ease on the phone and in person.
- Proven ability to promote products and services in a persuasive, professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills including active listening.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven success using Microsoft Office suite and experience with Salesforce (CRM).
- The ability to deliver 50-100 outbound phone calls, emails, and SMS messages per day requiring the ability to sit for long periods of time.

- The ability to travel frequently between customer and events sites in the greater Houston area requiring the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable automobile required.

- Authorization to work in the United States with a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
- Proven track record of increased responsibilities.
- Bilingual is a plus.
