We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to play a key role in the successful execution of our data center site build. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and up to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will oversee both OSP and ISP fiber installations, ensuring compliance with all network standards and project requirements.
About the Role
As a Data Center Construction Cost Manager, you will play a critical role in managing project finances, ensuring cost efficiency, budget adherence, and mitigating financial risks across large-scale, high-demand data center projects. You’ll oversee cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, collaborating closely with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
- Track expenditures and conduct cost analysis to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify financial risks and provide cost-saving strategies to optimize project efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to maintain cost control.
- Review and validate contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to contracts, change orders, and financial reporting standards.
- Utilize cost management software (e.g., Procore, Timberline, CostX, Excel) for precise financial tracking.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in cost management, estimating, or financial control within construction (preferably in data centers, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control methodologies.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Procore, Timberline, CostX, Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable financial insights.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors in large-scale construction environments.
