The mission of the Internal Communications team is to help drive engagement by ensuring colleagues are informed about the strategy, goals and needs of the business, feel a connection to their work and the company’s culture, and are enabled and inspired to do their best work for the company. As an Internal Communications Intern, you will be an important contributor to the development and execution of internal communication content, channels and strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication within the company, fostering engagement, and maintaining a cohesive corporate culture.
What you'll take on:
- Assist in drafting and editing internal communications materials, including emails, newsletters, intranet content, and announcements.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather content and information for internal distribution.
- Aid in the planning and execution of company-wide events, meetings, and town halls.
- Support the management and maintenance of internal communication platforms, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging.
- Work with social media team to create content for corporate social media channels and measure effectiveness.
- Maintain global internal communications calendar
- Work with team to develop internal communications measurement tracking mechanism and maintain on an ongoing basis.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- A blend of curiosity, analytical thinking, creativity, flexibility, adaptability and the relentlessness to drive projects to completion.
- Demonstrated interest in internal communications and a desire to learn and grow in this field.
- Available to work a full time schedule Monday through Friday. Working from our office in Midtown Manhattan at least three days a week.
