Job Summary
A Manufacturing Technician II will implement production processes in a GMP-compliant environment while following environmental health and safety guidelines. The role involves organizing and leading production activities, participating in departmental projects, and collaborating with quality teams. Responsibilities include assisting with the movement of Flexbumin through inspection to packaging, documenting process activities, and reporting to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing operations
- Lead Manufacturing Technicians I in daily tasks
- Operate general production equipment, including Downstream Automated Packaging (DAP) lines, forklifts, and hoists
- Receive and distribute supplies into the production area
- Perform daily cleaning of the production area
- Train new and existing employees/contractors on procedures
- Communicate issues related to safety, quality, compliance, and equipment
- Maintain English language proficiency for written and oral instructions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years' experience or AA or higher, with 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to work around chemicals requiring respiratory protection
- Physical stamina for sedentary and walking activities over 12-hour shifts
- 20/20 near and distance vision, with or without glasses and/or contacts (for visual inspection roles)
- No color blindness (for visual inspection roles)
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Immunization may be required for work within the manufacturing area
