Roles and Responsibilities:
Talbert Deli Provisions is a Local Purveyor of premium quality delicatessen products and we are looking to hire a professional, friendly, and outgoing individual to represent the high quality Boar's Head Brand. Position would require work at retail store locations in a specific geographic area.
Account Managers would be responsible for a variety of daily tasks including, but not limited to: taking inventory and electronic ordering on an iPad, utilizing sales promotional data and trends when placing orders, training of associates on the Brand and coaching on a variety of retail partner specific programs, effectively demonstrating product knowledge, basic product merchandising, performing premier customer service techniques, use of a deli slicer, ability to assist in the successful operation of retail partners, etc. All necessary training will be provided to the right candidate.
The Account Manager will be responsible for implementing ongoing training of deli associates by collaborating closely with Deli Managers to access and measure the training needs of the Deli teams. They will also be working closely with both Store Management and Deli Management to build relationships for incremental displays, help build the Brand, promote Boar's Head's Vision, and protect our Brand integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
-Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer service mind set.
-Ability to work independently and follow directions given to complete tasks and achieve goals.
-Daily travel between multiple accounts. Must have your own reliable transportation.
-Pro-active attitude while maintaining Boar’s Head Standards at each location in terms of merchandising, promotions, displays, training and coaching, etc.
-Must love working with food and understand food safety handling standards.
-Professional appearance.
-Must be detail-oriented.
-Must be able to work shifts according to order schedules and training needs.
Schedule:
- Primarily Mon through Fri. Some weekends may be required as needed.
- 8 hour shifts
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience with perishable items a plus
- Previous Management and/or Training skills a plus
