Accountant

Well established manufacturing company targeting a Staff Accountant to join the growing team!

Role is hybrid, three days onsite Smyrna

💲 Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 6% Bonus (Based on Company Performance)

Reports To: Controller

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a detail-driven and analytical Staff or Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, and audit support — as well as overseeing AP/AR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger and accrual-based accounting.
• Reconcile financial statements, records, and transactions.
• Support budgeting, audit processes, and year-end close.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations.
• Maintain fixed assets and calculate depreciation.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and international consolidations.
• Participate in process improvement and strategic financial initiatives.
• Collaborate with external auditors, banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with multi-company and international accounting is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in GAAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
• Willingness to adapt and embrace change in a dynamic environment.
