Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts or other jurisdiction relevant to Client’s business
- Prior in-house experience as a commercial contracts or corporate counsel preferred.
- Must be a hands-on, self-motivated, quick learner capable of working and adding value with limited supervision.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills are a must.
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and evaluating related business and legal issues.
- Demonstrated ability to support and eventually lead projects and improve processes.
- Proven track record of executing excellently in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency, including a strong appreciation for deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for a team-oriented, highly collaborative culture.
