Role: Mainframe Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications using Cobol, JCL, File Manager, CA7, IMS, and Easytrieve.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform system analysis, coding, debugging, and troubleshooting for mainframe applications.
- Ensure high-quality coding standards and deliver solutions that meet business needs within deadlines.
- Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
- Provide production support and resolve issues as they arise.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for processes, workflows, and system designs.
- Continuously monitor, optimize, and enhance the performance of mainframe systems.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Mainframe development with expertise in Cobol, JCL, File Manager, CA7, IMS, and Easytrieve.
- Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and programming best practices.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing mainframe applications.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with version control systems and software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with system integrations and working in agile environments is a plus.
