Talent Management Group is looking to add a Quality Supervisor to our team in Nashville, Illinois. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of quality inspectors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Coordinate job setups by reviewing client requirements, creating work instructions, scheduling inspections, allocating resources, and ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are in place.
- Manage quality control processes to identify, document, and address non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, provide updates on inspection activities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Generate inspection reports, quality records, and documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain organized records of inspection findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
- Facilitate training sessions for quality inspectors to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies. Provide feedback and coaching to support professional development and performance improvement.
- Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health and safety protocols during inspection activities. Ensure that inspectors follow proper safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:

- Associate degree or equivalent work experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in supervisory or leadership positions is required. Experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, warehousing, or engineering is desirable.
- Proficiency in quality inspection methods, techniques, and tools. Familiarity with testing equipment, measurement tools, and inspection processes is essential including an understanding of relevant quality standards such as ISO standards, ASME codes, API standards, or specific industry standards.
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating a Forklift/Hi-Lo.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues, and root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team of quality inspectors. Ability to provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem resolution.
- Adherence to ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of work, including maintaining confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites for inspections and supervisory tasks as needed.
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds
- 2 years of Forklift (preferred)
- Must be able to do math and use a computer for data analysis
- Have a positive attitude with employees and customers
- Must be flexible and be able to multitask between multiple inspections and customer locations
