TalentoHC is partnering with a growing, family-owned company seeking a Director of Payroll & Benefits to succeed the retiring incumbent.
The Director of Payroll & Benefits oversees payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations, ensuring efficient HR operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll processing, benefits administration, and 401(k) contributions with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and workplace safety regulations.
- Collaborating on policy development, compensation strategy, and HR programs.
- Leading HR projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in leadership.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
- Strong expertise in payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in HR systems (Ceridian Dayforce) and data-driven decision-making.
