Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support in a group home setting, assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, monitoring, and observation in assisted living or memory care environments.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Monitor and observe residents to ensure their safety and comfort
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Perform CPR if necessary in emergency situations
- Assist with household tasks and meal preparation as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or home care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of patient monitoring and observation techniques
- Certification in CPR is a plus
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards residents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
