Immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician I with a biotech company in Garden Grove, CA who possesses : -BA / BS Degree in Sciences - Biological Sciences, Chemistry -QC Experience - med device / invitro diagnostics / biotech - 1 yrs-New grad good with a lot of lab exp-Must be organized, detail oriented and work well in a structured environment Email resumes to mrico@ FULL DESCRIPTION : The selected candidate will be responsible for : -QC Release personnel to perform routine evaluation, and / or specialized laboratory testing to determine release disposition of in-process and finished products.-Prepare and process testing reports and other paperwork associated with testing activities.-Review and sign data and related forms.-Promptly notify QC Tech II's, Snr QC Technician, supervisor or Manager of product issues.-Test for and assign positive control ranges.-Maintain QC retention samples and database.-Prioritize and report on work per the production schedule-Calibrate laboratory equipment as necessary-Participate in 5S activities to maintain organization and efficiency of the QC laboratory.-Enter labor hours into the ERP system on a timely basis and investigate and report on any variances.-QC stability personnel to perform accelerated stability testing as per written procedures or protocols.-Perform real time stability testing for FDA / IVDR submissions, and routine real time stability testing as per written procedures.-Review real time stability data and perform repeat testing as appropriate.-Complete and submit accelerated and real time stability reports.-Update tracking spreadsheets and maintain an inventory of stability samples and reagents for stability studies.-Calculate and keep track of incubation and testing schedules.-Promptly notify QC Tech II's, Snr QC Tech, supervisor or Manager of any stability issues.-General : Maintain laboratory equipment in an operational state consistent with its intended use.-Assist in product development, evaluation and improvement programs.-Work is technical in nature and will require increasing knowledge of product lines and testing instruments.-Maintain punctuality and regular attendance-Interact with all co-workers and management in a positive, supportive and cooperative way Salary Range : $24-$27 / hr For immediate and confidential consideration, please email your resume to mrico@
