Locations: Chicago, IL or Austin, TX
Responsibilities:
Lead preconstruction efforts for utility-scale solar, and battery storage projects from late-stage development through the start of construction.
Coordinate across engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction teams to ensure full project readiness.
Manage project timelines and critical path schedules to align with commercial operations milestones.
Oversee engineering deliverables including civil, electrical, and structural design packages.
Facilitate the completion of topographic, ALTA, and geotechnical surveys to support design and construction planning.
Support site optimization efforts through collaboration with engineering and development stakeholders.
Develop scopes of work and support contractor bid processes for major project components (BoP, HV, PV, BESS, etc.).
Collaborate on interconnection planning, including substation engineering, grid compliance, and commissioning needs.
Coordinate with internal O&M teams to plan for long-term asset management, spares inventory, and facility infrastructure.
Ensure all preconstruction documentation and plans meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
