Role Overview:
The bank is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join its Project Finance team to work on a diverse range of energy transactions and infrastructure projects, including midstream, upstream, RNG, renewables, and broader infrastructure projects. The role will focus on both financing and corporate development initiatives, including M&A.

Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Structuring & Financing:
- Lead and assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project financing transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including midstream, upstream, renewables, RNG, and related infrastructure projects.
- Analyze financial models and create financing strategies to optimize capital structures and debt solutions for large-scale projects.
- Prepare comprehensive financial, legal, and risk analysis to support decision-making and approval processes.
M&A and Corporate Development:
- Support the team on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities related to energy and infrastructure companies.
- Conduct due diligence and valuation analysis, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and integration planning for potential M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and business development teams, to execute M&A transactions effectively.
Industry Research and Market Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding new opportunities and risks in the market.
Client and Investor Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support senior team members in client presentations, investment memorandums, and strategic discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including legal, risk, and treasury teams, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Work closely with the corporate development team to identify growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in project finance, M&A, or corporate development, with a focus on energy and natural resources (renewables, midstream, upstream, RNG) or infrastructure transactions.
Skills:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of project finance structuring, debt and equity financing, and risk management.
- Familiarity with energy markets, including midstream, upstream, and renewables.
- Solid understanding of M&A processes, valuation techniques, and due diligence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions concurrently.
