Tanglewood Conservatories is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This vital role supports the coordination and oversight of key construction project activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience and a proven ability to support departments including sales, engineering, purchasing, and production. Experience in project management is a plus.
Position Description
- Set up new projects after post-sales meeting.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Utilize internal software and tools for tracking project progress and documentation.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
- Interface with clients to gather information, approvals and signatures as needed.
- Assist in project coordination by organizing meetings, preparing reports, taking meeting notes, and maintaining project documentation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the sales, engineering, purchasing and production departments to ensure completion of tasks and deadlines that support meeting project schedules.
- Provide administrative support to the COO and project team members.
- Ensure project files are up-to-date and stored in the appropriate folders.
- 2-3 years’ experience working in a design-build, architecture or remodeling construction company.
- Knowledge of construction products and materials.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with contract administration processes is a plus.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
