What Youll Do
Bookkeeping Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and financial recordkeeping
- Categorize expenses, reconcile accounts, and record vendor invoices
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and generate reports as needed
- Work closely with the Finance team to maintain accurate records across multiple restaurant locations
- Set up new hires into our Payroll management system and assign them to appropriate locations
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Handle employee terminations in the payroll system after offboarding
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve any employee-related payroll issues
- Perform I-9 audits and ensure compliance across all employee files
- Assist with updating and organizing job descriptions
- Help with compliance tracking
- 12 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or HR administration
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Familiarity with payroll systems; experience with Payroll is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
