Job Description:
TAP (Testing and Prevention Center) is looking for an HR Generalist. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology and preferably has experience with payroll and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of employee onboarding, training, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Manage all aspects of employee benefit administration including payroll, 401K, Life Insurance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment laws, compensation policies, and benefits administration.
- Coordinate the recruitment process for new employees including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form according to current policies and best practices.
- Assist with training of new hires including orientation.
- Perform background checks on all applicants applying to work at the company.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Experience:
- 3 years of relevant experience in human resources, as an administrative assistant, or related field.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
