What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at Taras Technology LLC?
Minimum Qualification:
•College, Bachelor’s Degree
•6-8 years of technical assistance experience with resolving issues related to all computer hardware (laptops, desktops, iPads, tablets, etc.), connectivity/medical devices, scanners, conference AV equipment, cellular and VOIP phones, and corporate cellular phones.
•Experienced with enterprise applications including (but not limited to): Microsoft Suite products, OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint, and browsers.
•Ability to travel to Twin Cities-based Client locations as needed; infrequent travel to Greater MN locations. Preferred
•A Certification
•Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCSDT) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification
Duties:
•This position exists to provide courteous and timely support of workstations, software, and peripherals in a Microsoft networked environment.
•This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
•The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.
