What are the responsibilities and job description for the System/Patient Navigator - Alternatives to Incarceration Program position at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc?
This case manager position is working closely with the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office. This program is an Alternative to Incarceration Program that will help minor offenders with mental health and substance use disorders get proper treatment versus jail time. This intervention case manager will work closely with the police departments, along with the mental health and substance use disorder programs at TTC. Position is a fulltime position with benefits, and will work out of the police station, and be on call to support this program. Case Managers will respond to interview possible candidates for program that meet the approved, non violent criteria, and transport them to TTC to enroll in their program.
Ideal Applicant would have knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders, along with high school diploma, support the idea of alternatives of incarceration program, be able to communicate well and work with law enforcement officials.
