Duties
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage transportation logistics by coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Utilize systems such as AS400 and Oracle Transportation Management to input data and analyze shipping information effectively.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including GPS tracking data and freight details.
- Provide support in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery and enhance overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field, preferably within transportation management or logistics.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with freight operations.
- Proficient in using software applications such as AS400, Oracle Transportation Management, and GPS tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
