What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Barista position at Taylor Lane Organic Coffee?
Taylor Lane Organic Coffee in Sebastopol, CA at the Barlow is looking for an experienced barista to join our team. We have a part time (20-30 hours/week) position available. Must be able to work a least one weekend day. Our Coffee Bar is open from 7AM to 6PM everyday. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Hourly wage plus Tips (which average $8 to $14 per hour)
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all recipes, presentation standards, and operational procedures including, but not limited to cash handling, inventory management, etc.
- Food preperation
- Adhere to company policies and values
- Normal day includes the physical demands of standing/walking for 4 hours at a time, crouching, conversing, and fine hand manipulation
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about coffee & beverages
- A friendly people person
- Accountable to deadlines & commitments
- Ability to take direction well; team player
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter, punctual, adaptable, organized and flexible
- 100% honest in all dealings, personal & professional
