We are working with an NYC agency seeking an ACD Copy / Art team to work on a new drug launch across HCP DTC (potentially including broadcast). Consumer pharma experience is a must - TV experience a plus!

Salary Range : $150K - $170K

The role :
The ACD (Copy / Art) provides in-depth knowledge and comprehensive writing / design skills to the creative team. They have expertise in writing direction across all promotional tactics and can tackle day-to-day copy needs. They should be able to carry an account if need be and have strong creative ideas. In addition, the ACD (Copy / Art) should develop positive relationships with team members and clients.

Must be able to write copy that :Is concise, clear, creative, and supportableDisplays good sentence structureHas overall good composition and a logical flowIs grammatically correctHas no spelling errorsCreates and DevelopsWrites headlines, subheads and body copyReferences and fact-checks copyConcepts for professional and consumer campaigns, including, but not limited to : direct mail, details aids, banner ads, journal ads, etc.Educational and motivational tools for the sales forceSpends the majority of time making sure that tactics (sales aids, brochures, etc.) for the campaign of his / her primary account are executed in an accurate, creative, and timely mannerConsults with Account Services and Momentum colleagues for information on productObtains additional background and current development information through research (Internet, medical publications, etc.)Reviews advertising trends, consumer surveys, and other data regarding marketing of specific and related goods and services in order to formulate a presentation approachWorks with supervisor and / or art director to develop creative strategies, develop concepts, and may be called on to act as creative lead on proposed projectsReviews / presents copy to senior team members to ensure adherence to strategic focus and toneNavigates an ever-changing landscape while adjusting and revising copy until approvedDevelops therapeutic flexibility in order to provide copy support where needed (i.e., backup for other accounts and New Business accounts)Collaborates with an Art Director on new business opportunitiesExplores ways that the Art Director can graphically present the brand story and associated dataunderstands the role of strategy in the creative development process and contributes to the development and refinement of brand strategy on assigned brandsFamiliarizes themselves with industry practices especially FDA regulationsFamiliarizes themselves with client workflow, risk environment and therapeutic historyDemonstrates an ability to think visuallyUnderstands the idea of branding and campaign developmentBackground / experience and skills :
Bachelor's degree preferred7-9 years' experience in a promotional agencyScience and / or medical background idealPossesses an inquisitive mind, asks relevant questions in the search for insightsDemonstrates a strong work ethic and a can-do attitudeIs detail oriented with a strong ability to research and problem solveLearns quickly and possesses a continuous learning mentalityCommunicates clearly, concisely and respectfully both verbally and in writing Professional writing experience a big plusDisplays strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborateDisplays an ability to perform trajectory thinking. an ability to see beyond primary and secondary associations and connectivityBachelor's degree preferredScience and / or medical background a plus, but not necessaryDemonstrates competency in the entire Microsoft software SuiteThorough understanding of the digital environment including trends and social media
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
