The Area Manager is responsible for regional field leadership, sales, employee training, production, employee management, and ongoing safety efforts.
- Five (5) years of vegetation management operations experience.
- Be ISA Certified Arborist or be able to obtain certifications within 6 months of employment, training provided by the company.
- Have additional relevant professional certifications.
- Have an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience / training in Utility Vegetation Management.
- Be comfortable and willing to utilize technology to carry out management tasks
- Willingness to travel when needed.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license. CDL Preferred
- Have exceptional people-facing skills and be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, crew members, and the public.
- Have exceptional time management skills to balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Have advanced knowledge of existing customers and / or identified prospective customers.
- Be highly proficient at ongoing customer relationship management.
- Must have a strong understanding of all relevant safety practices, protocols, and standards
