Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic financial leader with Oil and Gas experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of promoting efficiency, improving financial controls and driving strategic financial decisions.
This individual will report to the President and COO. The controller will be responsible for managing the financial day to day operations of the company and reporting the financial impact to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Implement and manage accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Oversee tax compliance and keep necessary documentation for regulatory reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivables processes
- Identify improvement opportunities
- Bridge the gap between operations and administration by establishing clear procedures and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills while still upholding confidentiality
- Strong leadership experience
- Highly Organized and high level of confidentiality
- Experience in Oil & Gas preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
