Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role includes a variety of clerical tasks, front desk management, and assisting Housing Agent and Housing Administrator in all areas as requested.
Duties
- Processing and separating incoming mail into the appropriate work bins.
- Answering incoming phone calls.
- Triaging phone calls and messages appropriately.
- Maintaining office inventory of work related packets and supplies.
- Sorting and filing paperwork and files.
- Keeping office clean and organized.
Experience
- Strong computer skills: working from different screens, typing skills, data entry, email, Microsoft word, excel.
- Good reading skills
- The ability to ask questions to the Housing Agent/Administrator.
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks concurrently.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to learn policies and procedures of the company.
- Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ability to learn new skills
- Ability to apply changes in policies and procedures as they come up.
- Be able to work in a professional manner
- Must at all times maintain confidentiality and privacy. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from job.
- The ability to handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism.
