Primary Responsibilities:
- Listens, reads, and responds to all employee-related requests in a timely manner and immediately assists employees with support and resources; escalates issues to Director of Human Resources if need be.
- Innovates and focuses on constant process improvement.
- Consistently utilizes a lens of equity and inclusivity in the treatment of people to ensure all federal and state laws are followed, identifies gaps within the agency, and collaborates with Director of Human Resources to advocate and implement solutions.
- Complies with and works to improve current hiring practices and record retention; maintains accurate and complete personnel records.
- Conducts or initiates the process for all pre-employment screenings for new hires.
- Completes all onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and separated staff, including scheduling new hire orientation, conducting exit interviews, etc.
- Manages all aspects of FMLA and other leaves, accommodations, worker’s compensation claims, and required COVID-19-related policies and procedures.
- Complies with all policies and procedures, and educates leaders/staff on policy compliance, escalating any violations of policy to the Director of Human Resources.
- Assists in all aspects of recruitment for TCN.
- Responds to requests for unemployment claims, verifications of employment, and assists with any escalated claims, as requested by the Director of Human Resources.
- Helps to ensure complete compliance with the performance management process.
- Manages benefits administration, including open enrollment and any associated federal or state filings, including ACA filings.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, combined education plus related work experience, or overall comparable work experience
- Experience: Two years of experience in a fast-paced human resources environment, nonprofit experience preferred
- Certification: SHRM Certification preferred
- Other: Microsoft Office, WebEx, Paycom; extensive data entry and recordkeeping
Salary : $40,000 - $51,000
