Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Analyst to design, analyze, and maintain information systems that align with business needs and organizational architecture. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to collect requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and develop system models to ensure efficient IT solutions. The role also involves cost estimation, project planning, documentation, and ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities:
< data-start="686" data-end="725">1. System Analysis & Design:- Gather and analyze requirements from end-users and business units to determine system objectives.
- Design efficient, scalable, and secure IT systems that align with enterprise architecture.
- Develop flowcharts, system models, and technical documentation to illustrate system functionality.
- Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate possible solutions and determine technical and financial viability.
- Ensure systems adhere to security, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of IT systems.
- Ensure proper system performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous monitoring.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to upgrade legacy systems and implement new technologies.
- Maintain Active Directory, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and enterprise applications.
- Work with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) to manage structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and maintain data models, data flows, and integration solutions.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with developers and system architects to implement APIs, data exchanges, and ETL processes.
- Assess system implementation costs, resource requirements, and project timelines.
- Provide input on budget allocation and prioritization of IT projects.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and risk assessments to ensure timely project execution.
- Work with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, user manuals, and SOPs for IT systems.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end-users understand system functionality.
- Document IT standards, best practices, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Provide end-user support and technical guidance to improve system adoption and efficiency.
- Ensure all IT systems comply with federal regulations, security policies, and best practices.
- Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and encryption.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
- Work with security teams to mitigate cyber threats and ensure data protection.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT systems analysis, system architecture, or IT support.
- Proficiency in system modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, UML, BPMN).
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, AWS, or VMware.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, data modeling, and integration.
- Experience in IT project planning, cost estimation, and feasibility analysis.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow).
- Ability to troubleshoot network, software, and security issues.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, NIST).
Preferred Qualifications:
- IT certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security , Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or PMP.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Office365 integration).
- Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python, or SQL.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.
- Experience with API integration, ETL processes, or automation tools.
