Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person teacher with experience teaching and facilitating hands-on STEM projects (ie: robotics, electric circuits, science experiments, etc.) for an 11 year old boy at his home in Carmel, IN 46074. Two hours are guaranteed for each session/visit and the hours are flexible. You can work around your schedule on weekends & during summer/holiday breaks when you are available. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position with flexible hours teaching just one student hands-on STEM activities that pays $60/hour (minimum $120/visit).
Looking for a teacher who can provide fun and educational middle school and high school level (and possibly college level) hands-on projects and lessons in STEM-related subjects like robotics, electronic circuits, physics, chemistry, coding, 3D modeling, etc. The right teacher/tutor should be able to provide engaging lesson plans and teach & facilitate hands-on activities for a very smart and creative 11 year old boy at his home. The teacher will help advance the boy’s abilities in STEM-related subjects (math & science) and in his areas of interest, and facilitate and keep the student engaged using fun and educational activities.
Looking for a teacher who is experienced who can keep the student engaged. The right teacher will be able to foster curiosity, learning, intelligence and imagination, and be able to apply the projects and experiments to real life. If the teacher can keep the student engaged, the family is willing to commit to a minimum of two hours per visit. The teacher/tutor should be willing to come to the home of the student whenever the teacher and the family are both available on weekends and holiday & summer breaks. Scheduling can be arrange with the family in advance.
Teacher candidates should have at least a BA or BS in either education or a science-related subject, and a minimum of 5 years teaching or tutoring experience working with students using hands-on projects or experiments. Prior advanced robotics, electric circuit coding, 3D-modeling, physics or chemistry experience is a plus, but not required. Requirements: Minimum BA/BS in education or a science-related subject and five years teaching or tutoring experience using hands-on experiments or projects (classroom or otherwise) is required. Prior advanced robotics, electric circuit coding, 3D-modeling, physics or chemistry experience is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable working with 11 year old boys, and must be capable of planning and facilitating STEM-related lessons as previously described that will engage the student. Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to the home of the student in person in Carmel, IN 46074 on weekends and holiday & summer breaks when both you and the family are available.
