Clinical Group Programming Supervisor
Salary- $60,000-$70,000
The Clinical Group Programming Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the group facilitation process within behavioral health and addiction treatment services. This position will provide guidance, training, support, and accountability to group facilitators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based group therapy sessions that support the recovery of individuals struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities :
- Provide oversight, training, and ongoing support to group facilitators to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead group therapy sessions.
- This includes regular performance evaluations, feedback, and coaching to enhance facilitation skills.
- Participating in staff recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and accountability protocols.
- Maintain staff schedules, including coverage for PTO, call-offs, and ensuring compliance in regulatory staffing requirements for group therapy.
- Prepare agendas and lead group facilitators meetings and provide supervision meetings for continuity of staff support, staff development, and ensure consistency of group content remains intact.
- Provide and facilitate group therapy when needed.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring deliverables are met within timelines and budget constraints.
- Identify risks and proactively manage issues related to clinical programming.
- Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to develop and enhance group therapy programs that align with evidence-based practices and the specific needs of individuals in addiction recovery. This includes assisting in designing group therapy curriculum and implementing innovative approaches to group facilitation.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of group therapy sessions through observation, feedback, and evaluation processes.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that group facilitation aligns with best practices, program goals, and consistency of content.
- Establish and enforce programming standards and procedures.
- Foster collaborative relationships with other members of the addiction recovery team, including members of the care team to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
- Communicate regularly with team members to coordinate care and address any issues related to group facilitation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of staff activities, performance evaluations, and any incidents related to group facilitation.
- Prepare regular reports for program leadership on the status of group facilitation and areas for improvement.
- Attend staff development, departmental meetings, and training as required.
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which are related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team.
- Flexible scheduling. Must be able to be at work as early as 7 : 30 AM if group coverage is needed. Available for covering Monday- Sunday.
