The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in various administrative and operational
tasks, assisting with recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and general HR functions. This
role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations while maintaining confidentiality and
adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION :
1. Assist in posting job openings on job boards and company websites.
2. Review applications, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication with candidates.
3. Help prepare offer letters and onboarding materials for new hires.
4. Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure all necessary documentation is completed for new
employees.
5. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
6. Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing HR documentation in compliance with legal and company
requirements.
7. Manage employee information in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and update when
necessary.
8. Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure timely enrollment or changes to benefits
plans.
9. Coordinate with vendors to resolve benefits-related issues.
10. Prepare and maintain benefits documentation and reports.
11. Serve as back-up to payroll processing.
12. Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
13. Help prepare and maintain HR-related reports, documents, and statistics.
14. Support in audits, reporting, and compliance activities related to HR functions.
15. Provide general HR support to employees and answer basic HR-related questions.
16. Coordinate internal communications and employee events and assist in the planning of those events
as needed.
17. Handle correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing HR events.
18. Assist Team Recovery team with special projects, training sessions, or employee engagement
initiatives including but not limited to New Hire Orientation.
19. Provide general administrative support as needed for HR staff and leadership.
EDUCATION :
Required : High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred : Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
EXPERIENCE : Preferred :
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION :
Required : Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record under Team Recovery's driving policy.
Preferred : SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification.
