Job Summary:
As an IT Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and advancing our IT systems and infrastructure to support Team SCG’s growth. Base Compensation: $82,000-$87,000
Bonus Potential: Annual performance bonus of up to 15% of base salary, depending on individual performance and the Company’s performance during the applicable year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As an IT Service Manager, your primary responsibilities will be:
Service Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve IT services, including the implementation of an IT Services HelpDesk and process, identifying areas for improvement, creating plans for improvement, and monitoring processes.
- Drive the delivery of IT Services across TeamSCG to align with the ITIL framework using ITSM Best Practices.
- Manage resource allocation and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as data privacy and security regulations.
- Create and maintain documentation related to IT Services, such as service level agreements (SLAs), standard operating procedures, and incident response plans.
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and other service providers.
System Management:
- Manage and optimize the company’s key systems, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Syncore, and Clear Spider.
- Ensure all systems are operating at peak performance and aligned with business needs.
- Evaluate and implement new systems and technologies as needed to support business growth.
Device Management:
- Design and implement a remote and local end-point management strategy for all terminals and devices, including the ability to support remotely.
- Ensures all devices that access the company’s network are secure, up-to-date, and functioning correctly.
- Oversee the lifecycle of hardware from procurement to decommissioning.
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct regular system and hardware diagnostics to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Provide support for hardware and software-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Security Management:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security protocols, including firewalls and data protection measures.
- Regularly review and update security policies to safeguard against emerging threats.
Additional duties and responsibilities as an IT Systems Manager:
Project and Data Change Management
- Lead IT-related projects, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
- Manage data changes, migrations, and integrations across various systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions that support business objectives.
- Train and support staff on the use of systems and best practices for cyber security.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general IT services.
- Proven experience in IT system management, with a strong understanding of Microsoft products. Experience with Syncore and/or Clear Spider is a plus.
- Extensive experience with system diagnostics, hardware troubleshooting, and security management.
- Strong knowledge of firewall implementation and device management.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading IT initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
Work Environment and Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM
- Availability for nights and weekends as needed.
- Travel up to 10% may be required.
