Payroll Coordinator

This is a HYBRID role. 

 

Are you a Payroll Professional seeking an exciting new career opportunity? Look no further! TeamWorkers is seeking a dynamic individual to fill a Payroll Coordinator position.

 

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Payroll Coordinator, you are responsible for carrying out payroll in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for duties including, but not limited to, employee relations, benefits, compensation, leave of absence, workers compensation, recruiting, prescreening, hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, terminations, and participation in unemployment claims.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required
  • Minimum of two years of prior payroll experience required; minimum of one year of prior healthcare payroll experience highly preferred
  • Minimum of two years of prior healthcare experience highly preferred
  • Must possess excellent computer skills, proficient typing skills, and the ability to navigate web-based programs with ease
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting and payroll best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel required
  • Proficiency with payroll application systems required
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills required
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information
  • Must be detail oriented with high accuracy
  • Current knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations required
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Confident, coachable, and teamwork focused
