The IT Desktop Support (Advanced) role involves providing expert-level technical support, managing complex IT issues, and ensuring the security and stability of end-user computing environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Mentoring & Training – Guide junior staff and train users on new technologies.
- Troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware, software, and network issues.
- Security Management – Remediate vulnerabilities using MECM and Qualys.
- Incident & Infrastructure Support – Manage network status, port activation, and file restores.
- Audiovisual & Conferencing – Support virtual meetings (Teams, Webex, Zoom, etc.).
- Project Management – Oversee IT projects and document processes.
- On-Call & Travel – Provide after-hours support and travel to remote locations as needed.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma (certifications or higher education preferred)
- 2 years in customer service and quality assurance
- Experience with ticketing systems, scripting, and automation
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
This role requires a mix of technical expertise, customer service, and leadership skills.
