Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial and industrial plumbing, electrical work, and mechanical troubleshooting. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveying systems, while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment such as motors, pumps, production machinery, and conveying systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment and devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibrate, adjust, fabricate, and repair machinery as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Set up and verify the functionality of safety equipment to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience working with motors, pumps, and other industrial machinery.
• Previous experience in a technician role is preferred.
• Commitment to following all safety protocols and regulations.

Notes:
It will be a 1st shift position. Initially, the hours will be 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
After completing HAZWOPER training, the shift may change to 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
There's a strong possibility of converting to full-time.
Must have plumbing experience
Preference for candidates that have worked in hazardous waste facilities
PPE required - hard hat, safety toe boots, spoggles safety glasses, hearing guard, splash guard (site will provide)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
