Job title: Surgery Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Surgery Coordinator to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of surgical instruments and implants. This role involves coordinating inventory logistics, managing shipments, and transporting medical supplies between warehouses and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate has experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management and is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use surgery management systems and FedEx programs to loan, receive, ship, and track inventory.
- Safely transport surgical instruments and implants to and from medical facilities.
- Coordinate with sales personnel to process requisitions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform boxing, packing, labeling, and shipping of medical equipment.
- Ensure timely restocking and emergency deliveries as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with audits.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call service rotation and work some holidays as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, sales support, or inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify Zimmer products and understand product groupings.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with local travel (up to 5%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical device logistics or a technical field such as Engineering or Information Systems.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
