Primary Purpose 

Provide Tier II technical support for all Technology systems district wide. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

 

Qualifications 

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • High school diploma or GED, college preferred.
  • A certification or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Must pass CCISD Drug and Alcohol Abuse Standards.
  • Must pass criminal history and MVR driving record check as required by CCISD

Special Knowledge/Skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership to an assigned PreK-12 Community
  • Ability to understand operation of district standard equipment.
  • Ability to read, follow, and interpret software and hardware manuals.
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple and complex assignments. 
  • Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining software/hardware technologies.  
  • Working knowledge of network configurations, topologies, and installation. 
  • Ability to properly diagnose and repair enterprise equipment.            
  • Ability to properly configure and troubleshoot enterprise applications.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing technical support to end users, preferably in an educational environment.   

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Provide Tier I and Tier II support for all district technology systems at the campus/department level as well as district wide.
  2. Act as a technical leader and provide mentoring for the Computer Technicians in the assigned PreK-12 Community.
  3. Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technology systems district-wide.
  4. Work cooperatively with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues.
  5. Provide support to district and campus events
  6. Provide regular updates and status reports to the appropriate supervisor.
  7. Complete a written record of every service call.
  8. Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
  9. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
  10. Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.
  11. Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.
  12. Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.
  13. Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.
  14. Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.
  15. Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
  16. Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
  17. Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
  18. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
  19. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
  21. Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.

Moderate standing, walking, bending, lifting and moving up to 30 pounds; unboxing and installing new items; prolonged sitting and use of computer; repetitive hand motions; occasional prolonged and irregular hours
