Role Overview:
We are looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join our Paint Electrical Controls team. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and reviewing electrical control standards
- Reviewing electrical drawings and ensuring compliance
- Leading meetings with various teams to ensure project success
- Supporting project installations and plant operations
- Creating documentation and ensuring standards are met
Requirements (Must-Have Skills):
✔ bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
✔ Experience in layout design & equipment installation
✔ Ability to identify project challenges & propose solutions
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
✔ Project management experience
✔ Knowledge of OSHA requirements, machine codes & standards
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
➕ Experience in maintenance or technical fields
➕ Paint production engineering experience
➕ Familiarity with PLCs & communication systems
➕ Understanding of Model ID, ALC & vehicle data systems
➕ Experience collaborating with suppliers & affiliates
