The Security Operations Specialist is responsible for the coordination of physical security and contract security services supplied to the Tampa Electric Company and Peoples Gas Company. Assists leadership in the development and implementation of security services, such as day to day operations, training, project planning, organizational structure, and protective services. Works under the guidance of the Security Operations Coordinator with the coordination of physical security and contract security services for the Tampa Electric Company and Peoples Gas Company. May also assist leadership in the development and implementation of security services such as day to day operations, training, project planning, and protective services.
Advancement to a higher level is based on value added to the Company’s through increased duties, responsibilities, and accomplishments. Advancement is not automatic, i.e. based solely on time in the job, but will be based on direct observation of the employee’s performance, accomplishments, qualifications (to include achievement of required licenses and certifications), and the business and/or technical needs of the department.
